The Raceframe has lots of holes and it's not as tight as a pressure suit so will naturally be better ventilation from the sides as well.

It's padded so much better than just a roost guard but...

But maybe overkill for your use. Got a Fox Raceframe protector and it, not bad at all and miles better than any pressure suit regarding ventilation....
