I ran Shinko 712 rear 230 front on mine for commuting duty. Bought both front and rear for under $100.

Didn't put many miles on them so can't comment on wear, but they were smooth.

I appreciate the heads-up. I wasn't planning to make the ride if it's muddy. I'm not set up for that and my mud riding skills are non-existent anyway. I'm really hoping the weather is decent.

Checked the valves and found my exhaust valves are out of spec tight. Something like .102mm & .076.

Actually found my valve shim tools which was a pleasant surprise. I'll be buying some thinner...
