Early 950s had a sticking front axle.

That is when a tools was invented to puss the front axle out. I made one at my local workshop and makes it a bit easier.

Fuel filters, pump?

A lot of grief was due to blocked fuel filters. I suggest you check them as a possible cause of snatchyness.
Cheers.

These are M6 bolts with alen short head.

I tried stainless bolts, but had some trouble to get them out sometimes and needed them to be magnetic material. So went back to OEM bolts.

You are struggling on a beaten path.

This has been researched extensively and the solution was given by Dr Bean. I don't see any novelty justifying opening this chapter again.

Some things to get straight.

Fuel pump primes unless there is pressure in the lines. That goes only for OEM fuel pumps. Facet will always prime, as it is not pressure sensitive.
I suggest you install DrBean's update on a OEM...

Any chance the balancer shaft seal is misplaced?

This could increase oil vapours blowby. It is positioned at the generator cover, on the left side of the engine. If you had that part opened, the cover could have been wrongly mounted.
Cheers.

What he said.

Rejetting doesn't need to drain the coolant. Some people prefer to dismantle the radiator but not too common. I would guess there was an amount of coolant in there that kept you going?

My $0.02

I think these orings, swell lightly with gas and seal the leaks. I think they do that normally without being damaged. I don't think they will get damaged.
Cheers.

You probably have a pinched vent line on your left tank.

The vapours push the fuel to the left tank.
You may also have restriction on your left petcock.

O.K. I think whinning for problems is what you get

when you release a faulty product. This is the feedback you deserve. So why should people with problems be diverted to go buy a Vstrom is beyond me. A faulty product gets the beating it deserves....

I missed this thread

Was riding in the mountains. Fuel filters' part numbers are the same for 1190 2013, 2014 with 990 fuel filters as Zuber mentions. They are the same with RC8 fuel filters as well.
Cheers.

Are you using the original pushrod? It was supposed to drive some oil to the clutch discs instead of the oil jet. Could be the combination is working well in your bike.

Pay extra attention on the cam bridge bolts.

They can barely take the torque. I had one damaged twice. A very good and new allen 4 should be your tool.

I would suggest you keep the OEM if working properly.

Just make sure you have a spare oring in case you need to open the fuel pump and cut-damage your oring.
Cheers.

You should try interchanging the deep steel disc inside your clutch with another one.

The deep steel clutch disc usually gets a groove from its friction with the bellevile spring. Usually replacing it with another steel disc makes wonders. You need to lean the bike to the left, so not...

You have incomplete disengagement

This could have several reasons. Since you have good resistance at your lever, master cylinder failure could be left out. Another reason could be clutch plates get warped from heat and rub, even with...

I suggest trying a slightly thicker oring.

Thicker than 3.0mm. Also apply some vaseline when inserting. Seems you are really close.

You usually get parts cheaper in USA.

When buying from the states, in Europe, you can get away with it, if using USPS. Courier mail is almost certain to pay duties.

When in turns, liquids stay pretty much orthogonal to the axis of the bike. So coolant doesn't change level inside the overflow walls.

Time chain slapping is one of the alarm noises for low oil pressure. If persistent after the engine is warmed up, it usually shows the water pump is worn, passing cooling liquid to the oil. This...
