I think the Sherpa has a small gas tank, doesn't it? Most bikes travelling off road, or "east coast" have a minimum 3 gal size, and even then, most carry a bit extra in a jug.

If you have wheel bearings that are loose, meaning if you can get a tiny side play by hand on the wheel, then I'd bet that's your problem. How many km's are there on the bike?

Thanks for the link!! Having the ability to install a pre-cut kit is the easy way to go. If doing it myself from scratch doesn't work out, I'll certainly consider ordering from these guys!!!
