Well, since I need to do something with this motor anyway I am considering keeping an eye out for a used Mahle setup. Are these nikasil cylinders re-ringable?

Very cool, I may have to do that. These rings look pretty bad though. They look "chipped" and the piston dome is marked up like there was a foreign object in there at some point.
