I mentioned 100K. Some may not go that long but it's rare to hear of a HD belt breaking less than 80K. Conversely most people I speak with that have 100+ mile Harleys are still on the original belt....

Or why not just a belt? Clean, out in the open where it can be seen yet almost never needs adjustment, they last 100K even on heavy, torquey Harleys.
