Kawasaki screwed up the 2008/9/10 in this way too. They just routed the line above the airbox, so it no linger works as a drain. You still need the Y/T mod. A plastic Y works best. One leg runs down...

The K&N flows less air than the stock...
The K&N flows less air than the stock filter.......... Cary Aspy did flow tests, I have his notes. The K&N doesn't seal as well at the base of the filter either.
