The mileage really pushed it over the edge for me. I can't say I wouldn't have ended up with the NC anyway though -- the mileage is just part of the practical package that is the NC.

Love it. Yes, it's wide, but it does a good job of protecting the muffler/signals/tail if I flop over. No issues when riding off road, and the utility is great commuting.
