OK cleaned the ignition switch and I now have power going into the CDI so to me that proves it is a bad Pickup coil.

OK guys, here is what I have done and found.
Reminder, it ran a few months ago when we rode last.
It cranks but has NO spark with new plugs.

I have checked every connection under the headlight...

Actually the problem is when the vacume petcock fails the fuel travels down the vacume line and straight into the engine. Weird huh? It does happen a lot on the DRZ's and the KLX version and a manual...

It does not mention using one as the stock setup does not have one either so I would not worry about it. As I mentioned before, I used the harness wires for my Battery Tender leads and it works out...
