Volts don't kill you anyway its amps you need to worry about. I've been zapped by 10,000volts off a oil furnace transformer but the amps was low enough it didn't kill me.....I sure felt it tho.

SYM HD200 would be the best bet with good mileage and speed like others said about 70mph/70mpg but I don't like riding over 60mph. Anything smaller isn't safe at that speed or less then ideal anyway...

SYM would be much better then the buddy. the buddy is a great scoot but for taking trips with you a larger frame with larger wheels would be more stable at speed.
