Also check the voltage when your trying to crank. If it crashes you either have a big short in the starter circuit or most likely a bad battery.

The bikes aren't OBD2 so no. That is why Hexcode have had to put so much work into getting the GS911 to work. Only cars are required to be OBD2 compliant.

You can get a plug that piggyback onto the one under the seat as well. Goes between the existing plug and the socket. It is meant for putting extra sockets in like the one you can fit up by the beak.
