I used one when transporting my oilhead RT, just to provide clearance for
the "tupperware". I didn't have any issues with my grips, the dancer worked
as advertised for me. No problems. YMMV however.

My '93 GS/PD loves to run 65 mph @ 4k in 4th gear, if I'm in 5 gear
its more like 70-75 mph at 4k. If I needed to go 100 mph for long
periods of time, I would buy a K bike. Just my .02.
