It seemed to me that European drivers expect(?) riders to filter and pass at the first opportunity. Doing that here carries the possibility of road rage from any number of drivers.

My daily commute is only five miles so rain isn't much of an issue. I'll confess it took me a while to spring for some quality rain gear. But get nervous with lightning.
