Back Side of Cinnamon Pass

I am curious how it was coming down the back side of Cinnamon Pass with all that snow, water and mud. I think that is the steepest part of the Alpine Loop.

Chain

When an "O" ring chain loses the seal, it goes south very quickly, like in a day while riding dirt. Chain lube keeps the chain from rusting and does afford some lubrication to the sprockets, but...

COBDR in May?

You will run into snow on the high passes. Even June may be a little early given the winter they just had.

If anybody is thinking about a KLR, Valley Kawasaki tells me a new 2013 can be had for $5500 right now with factory incentives. Hardly worth buying a used one if a new one can be had at that price.

Hey George,
I got the damn thing cranked up as hard as it will go on sag (big nut that compresses spring). I don't think you can adjust the damping on this, but I'll take a second look.
