I was intrigued by this 52-page monster thread...

I was intrigued by this 52-page monster thread and a shorter one on TWT that referenced this one. So, I ripped off a couple hundred photos and put them together in a You-Tube video here...

Two things that helped the abrupt power on/off on my DL650 was a PC-III and changing my gas grade from 87 octane to 89 - that has cured probably 99% of my problems.
