I like it so much that this will be my next surgery on the bike. On my last off road tour I had a hard time to get the ABS turned off and problems to slow down in the dirt.

I installed a centerstand plate on a 2004 and "Yes" the heat from the cat is much more than I will accept. Next will be a heat shield on the left and right side of the cat. Just a aluminum deflector....

Don't understand your concerns

With exception of Mechanical and K-Jetronic, all common system (BMW) work with 2bar = 30PSI pressure. the pump can create 8bar =120PSI but has a relive valve inside and will shorten out the fuel flow...
