Don't worry about not having a GPS. There's nothing "dis-orienting" about the ride. You can definitely get in a group with others who have the file(s) and follow along and have a great time too...

Went thru the same thing after the Copper Canyon in Mexico. Eventually cured it by going smaller and more responsive than my KLR...Honda XR250. Now everywhere is attainable and an adventure.

I had to let the battery die to have it reboot itself. Didn't lose any tracks or stored maps.

There is a key combo (check the manual) for a warm, reboot. That will do it too, I just didn't know...
