Book specs the torque at 40 NM (around 30 lbs/ft).....I have applied heat gun and hit them with my 1/2 in. impact gun....still...

The rear bearing on the input shaft let go on a trip last summer and I'm finally getting around to getting that bike rolling again. M97 transmission, 3/97 stamped on the steering head of the bike.

The 1150 had a too-short input shaft spline and had bizarre gearing (IMO).
The 1100 had shift dog and input shaft issues
