It takes me LESS than five minutes to balance a rear wheel/tire combo on any bike and it seems most need some balance weights. I just feel better knowing both wheels are balanced.

Keep the KLX250 and buy one of the like new/used Super Teneres that are for sale.......plenty roomy for two and can do light off-roading on gravel/two-track.

Shinko 244 rear. 4000-5500 miles. Bridgestone TW21 front. 12,000 miles on my KLR. Both work decent on the street and most anything you will be riding on the KLR in the Mark Twain forest.
