I'll definately keep Rosey Toes in mind next time around. I ended up letting it sit in the sun for a few hours and that softened it up enough to get mounted.

Done with fuel pump replacement

Just had mine done, mechanic said mine was cracked (I didn't see it) so new fuel pump and all's good.

I have the CBT Lites and they are not waterproof, I'd say water resistant not proof.
In a torrential rain in Lake Placid they were completely soaked and filled - so was everything else as well.

I had that happen once as well and I was able to wipe it off when the exhaust was hot. Just used wadded up newspaper and most of it came off.

No they didn't change the speed sensor at that time , I had replaced that myself shortly prior (hoping that that was the cause of the intermittant issue). FYI for clarity this was a servo-abs early...

Careful when you replace the valve stem - I believe the rim fitted for TPMS has a larger diameter hole than non TPMS rims.
