Isn't G12 an OAT? The Strom has an "open" style coolant system (un-pressurized reservoir), I thought those didn't play well with with OAT (dexcool) style antifreeze. G-05 is a Hybrid-OAT (HOAT).

Did you check out Craigslist for used bike you could ride home? I noticed a 2000 KLR ($2500) on there and a low mileage VStrom ($3700). Maybe have your current bike backhauled if it doesn't sell....
