The rear rack will not bolt up flush with the side racks. So There are 2 spacers. One to the tank and 1 between the racks.

Are you using a high temp fluid? I run 5.1 and have no problems. I have had those issues back with the normal 3.5-4.0 that the PO had in the bike.
