I highly recommend the XR650L.
These bikes are battleship tough, and you can find parts for them damn near anywhere.
I ride two-up with my 15 year old (155lb) daughter, and we ride all over...

Slime Pump
I carry the Slime pump on my XR650L in my front fender pack.. I wired a 12v power outlet plug to my battery, and I stash it in the airbox. Plenty of room.
I also carry a full patch kit and 2 spare...
