I mounted Oxford grips w/o relay and love them. I am riding 12 months a year, from approx 0 celsius to 28. (no extreme weather here :) All other things are stock and no battery problems whatsoever.

They are good as well. I give credit when its due and having a set of pegs (stainless) for more than a year, I should say they're cool as! Second best investment on the bike (after the heated grips :)
