Final (?) Update

I got a call yesterday that my bike was finally fixed.

Turns out that when it was put back together the first time, the wires on the left side running from crankshaft to CDI were not put properly...

From what I was told, they just didn't seat it completely during reinstallation. This was causing the bike to cut out. Apparently, the front plug is difficult to get in.

This is what it looks like under my seat. You can see the breather hose to the left of the front pod filter. That's where it ends. It's never been a problem...
