Get a nice new clean M6, thread it in and get...

Get a nice new clean M6, thread it in and get your tig man to weld it with the bolt in place...You wont need to drill and tap.

Start using the bottom of the dip stick to gauge oil level. Very easy to overfill dry sump motor. See if your oil consumption is reduced.

Don't waste your money, the reviews favour Philips extream or Osram bulbs, and you get two for the same money. Do a search the Euro reflector, makes quite a difference. Or add a could of LED lamps.

Have you got a new oil filter, put the bike on the side stand and replace. Cheapish check. Next step could be hydraulic tensioners and oil bypass valve.

See if the bracket will mount using the second hole...if so take the bracket off and weld an extended piece both side...mount the plate using the second hole, mark for the new hole...drill. Job done....

Good mod, my only concern would be the oil sealing is relying on the integrity of the nylocks nylon seal on the bolt threads. Time will tell, cooper washer might be prudent.
