Spent the better part of today trying, in vain, to load maps onto my 60CSx.
Are there any instruction (dumbed down for me) out there to accomplish this.

You can also run a torch along the cut edge to "polish" it.

Oh, and if it cracks, dab a little super glue at the end of the crack to keep it from running (Don't ask how I know this).
