Don't cry. Under some good light, do a walk around on the bike and see what is loose. That is most likely your problem. Start with the exhaust from tip to the header.

Mounting them the other way would cause the same problems the BMW system cases have when packing.

There isn't a great fix for this. Remove the rubber mounts and you get a lot more...
