The engine is burning oil. A lot of oil. Burned 2 litres of oil in 1,600 km (1,000 miles). Plugs are covered in soot, no oil leaks, and smoking like diesel VW.

They need to be shortened on the inboard ends so as not to take out the gauges, but then they work.
