Random, I read one post where the rider found that it was his mirror placement causing the turbulence, and another who said it was his handguards.

On my bike, the Madstad works best with the side...

Mileage

2015 XCx. I've got about 1,500 miles on mine now. Averaging 50 mpg. I've found that if I do much cruising over 70, the mileage suffers. One trip I did had a lot of freeway riding at 85+ miles per...

I also went from a KLR to the XCx. I haven't had any problems at all adjusting to the Tiger. Off road you do need to slip the clutch a little more than on the KLR, but overall I like the Tiger...

Hmmm. In Colorado, 85 is regular and 87 is midrange. It may have something to do with the altitude. In any case, I last filled up with 85 rated regular to see what happens.

How good is the off road bracket at reducing flex in the mounting setup? I didn't buy the off road bracket initially, but I notice quite a bit of flexing over bumps and on dirt roads. Not a lot, but...

Mileage

I'll chime in with some mileage stats. I've got just over 1,000 miles on the bike now. My worst fill up was 46 mpg and my best was 55 mpg. The mileage definitely goes down with extended high speeds....

Stock vs. Puig vs. Madstad Review

Here is my windshield saga. I am 5' 11, but have a short 30" inseam and long torso so I probably sit like someone who is 6' 1". With the stock screen, I got fairly smooth air hitting me at neck to...

Before I bought my 2015 XCx, I rode a 2014 model (and a BMW 800GS and a BMW 1200GS). The 2014 Tiger was what convinced me that Triumph was definitely the way to go.

I bought the 2015 because of...

No problem with heat

This is my first Tiger, but I don't notice any bothersome heat from the engine. Certainly nothing like the heat coming of the engine of my Road Glide. :lol3

GPS Wiring for Triumph Tiger XCx

I've got a new Tiger XCx and I wired my Zumo 550 directly to the battery. I'd like to wire it to a switched power source, but I'm not sure what would be best for this bike. Any suggestions?

I went with white. I originally thought I wanted black, but the white shows MUCH better in person than in photos. Very cool pearl effect.
