Also, I didn't really answer your question. Most of the riding is rain forest type. Heavy vegetation, lots of trees, not much for rocks except ridge tops. You will likely have mud and some windfalls....

Good to know. I'll check it out as soon as I get the chance. I recently acquired a Honda xr 250L for just such adventures. I would be surprised if anyone has cut out the windfalls.

Looks like the dirt route is good from Asotin to Joseph via Cold Springs. Rode it first thing this morning. Left at 7:30am and was back before noon. The snow is gone and the road is in great shape....
