I found that when buying boots it is important to make sure you have soles that are fairly soft and thick. This really did the trick for my pillion on long trips. Maybee this will help:):

Me and Momma ride together all the time. She likes it comfy. I pack all the heavy stuff as low as possible and leave the trunk for items that need to be changed frequently like liners, hot weather...
