Pretty impressed with Caribou Case Pelican so far.

Mounting system and finishing touches on these Pelican cases is excellent. Interface with the Hepco & Becker racks is extremely positive. Narrower profile than many other setups.

I would definitely recommend getting the sg10s for what you describe.

Sounds like mostly offroad riding to me. The sg10s will provide significantly more hard parts protection than the adv gore...

Actually i agree with you. But the stress along the weak point on the tank and the resulting cracks are ultimately coming from the tank becoming slightly deformed from the ethanol. It's a known issue...

This isn't the 5 ft bed. It's a 6 ft on a 2007 Access Cab Tacoma. But, it does fit in there completely when positioned diagonally and the gate closes.

I suspect that it would fit in the 5 ft bed...
