Removed nut on bottom of carb bowl, turned on...

Removed nut on bottom of carb bowl, turned on fuel petcock.

Turned off fuel petcock, removed fuel line from petcock. Sprayed carb cleaner into hose, followed by compressed air, then reconnected...

Fixed the leaking carb overflow.
Fixed the sketchy headlight, it had a short.

Redid the valve adjust, started on second kick,...

Redid the valve adjust, started on second kick, still makes a ticking in the top end.

Now gas flows out overflow, need to check the floats and clean carb tomorrow.

Did my first ever valve adjust, rotated engine counterclock, exhaust valve moved, kept rotating, intake valve moved, then flywheel showed tdc.

Adjusted them and i cant get it to start now.

Found my problem... it was the receiver. I added a few feet to the antenna on the opener, then aligned the antenna perpindicular to the tracks and it works a ways a way now !

Done that gardner canyon ride (on my KLR) from the other side by Vail.... my buddy crashed off the highway, hit a tree, and face planted. He lived and was okay.... but I REMEMBER that ride !!! :eek1...
