It's the only bike I ever bought two of, and while my S10 is worlds better, I can honestly say that the DL1000 is a better bang for your buck.

I hate the kickstand.

It feels to me like the kickstand is too short and as a result the bike leans way too far over. Also, I have found the stock kickstand foot is too small...damn thing has tried to take a nap on more...

2007 XMOTO with ~ 1500 miles. The last few times I have stopped the bike for gas, it has not wanted to start afterward. Cold starts are no problem at all as the bike starts on the first rotation.
