Search for 'x-bike' jet settings for 950SM. Requires a filter, remove airbox triangle, new main jets (and possibly idle ..can't remember). Really wakes the bike up.

Yep, IMO the stock suspension on the 950SM just simply sucks compared to most other modern sport(y) bikes. My FZ1 (revalved) is light years ahead of my 950SM (revalved multiple times) in front end...
