I don't think that would work since the cylinder liner extends well down into the crankcase. The 441 piston is approximately 10 mm larger in diameter than the OEM piston and the OEM liner is not...

Some previous "mechanic" used a hardening gasket sealer on both sides of the paper gasket. If the surfaces are undamaged no sealer is required.
