over the years have tried a variety of things...for just plain old ease of use in most situations
I rely upon an aerostich darien jacket without liner...when warm and not wearing I just strap it on...

some of us looking at doing the western transam trail (colorado to
oregon coast) in the spring...a couple of the guys have the
big R1200GS bikes...but I am hearing not a good choice
