It looks like soft aluminum to me.. and those screws look soggy as well.
Be sure to use the best possible materials for this.
And peen or locktite the screws.

But this is not conclusive anyway.
The voltage looks about right.

They will be cut down and rewound so an old faulty stator is fine.

I was assuming that the rectified(sample) voltage is equal to the Stator output... and why wouldn't it be?...Glad you agree on the Digital vs Analog ...a good analog wouldn't affect the reading...
