I can speak to that....

....I put 25,000 miles on my 2004 DL650 "Wee"-Strom.

The V-Strom 650 can easily handle I-95 speeds.

They are FANTASTIC bikes.

Now, having said that, I traded mine in on a 2011 Suzuki...

On a long trip, the fuel stops really drop your average speed and can ad a lot of time to a 600 mile ride.

I've been a customer for ten years....

...and I have never had a problem with them. They have repaired my Roadcrafters and modified them, and laundered and attached patches to them, without fail, on time, exactly as requested every time.

.....the Garmin USA app for iPhones gives you a freaking Garmin GPS unit on your phone and works everywhere with NO CELL SERVICE.

It's a $50 app.

I've been using it on my iPhone for over a year...

....the type of bike you ride has a HUGE influence on how effective the heated gear is.

I could never wear my Gerbings Microwire gear on my V-Strom with a huge aftermarket screen and hand guards...

Fwiw.....

....I had an iPhone 5s in a Fre case and it fell off my Monster at 70 mph and the phone survived without any damage and the case was still useable. I was very impressed.
