I have a serviceable shaft and pull it every set of tires (2 rear, 1 front) while I have the bike on the lift to give at a couple squirts... Not a big deal.

I used the low beam power to trigger my fog/driving light relays. Lights stay off until the bike cranks. In addition, I switch between the fog to driving lights using the high beam power.
