Make sure the doughnuts are mounted the right way on the frame. The metal side should be facing out. Otherwise they will be too far outboard. Don't ask me how I know :lol3

Pissed 2002 LC4 bearing noise

So I think it's the clutch bearing and I pull the basket off. The original bearing with 16K miles is smooth as silk. The noise is coming from that side and sounds just like the good ole dry clutch...
