Yeah, I don't think I'd prefer the lid facing outwards w/ a semi-permanent mounted box. Its real quick to insert the key, spin the lock to the open position, lift the latch and the box pulls right...

I can't take the credit for the boxes as I bought it from a forum member back in '12. Its a pretty good setup though. Helps keep some of the clutter...

Phudson......seriously, you can probably just adjust the torque with an open end wrench at the base of the valve...
