I've done this with a stainless exhaust header.. took a few freeze/thaw cycles but worked really well.

I have the original too and have no issues at all with the collar. Love the jacket. If you can get one at a closeout price then jump on it.

50 bikes over 40 years = 1.25 bikes/year.

Based on this the plastic dip should last 12 x 1.25 = 15 years.

Total cost 15yr/$20= $0.75/year to protect...

AARG isn't a dirt bike/dual sport group. Lots of long distance rides at highway speeds. DRZ's and other smaller bikes can't keep up. That's the reason for the exclusion. Sorry.

Waterproofness tested

Took my new panniers and backcountry duffle camping this weekend and it turned into a major late season monsoon. My gear stayed 100% dry in the Mosko bags.

So one more idea for the Mosko dev team.. how about an option for a lockable cam latch? Would be a great way to provide a bit of extra security from somebody walking away with the entire pannier.
