Of all the engine mounting bolts/nuts, only the left side front mounting bolt may have been a little loose. Sadly, tightening it had no effect.

Next up are some gel pads, I guess.

FWW, I moved from a Honda NX650 (very KLR like) to a 955 and thought the same thing. I got used to it in about a week, although you'll never confuse the 955 for a light bike.
