I actually quite like the sounds the Triumph Triple makes, whine included. I also love the honda v4, gear driven cam whine.... To each his own, and all that stuff, I guess.

I think he was just messin' with ya, low-mileage ducs are fine as long as the belts were replaced on schedule (every 2 years) and all the other maintenance was done according to schedule. My 05 ST3...

Hmm...that's interesting as those are two different types of bikes. Both are very cool, though. I prefer the naked style of the Speed Triple, but there's something to be said for Honda's legendary...
