The flat black FJ-09 bags are the FJR "city bags", so the mounting should be the same. Only downside are the FJR bags are 75mm wider.

Just an observation that may have already been mentioned, but it looks like the Candy Red is the same color as on the 2014 FJR. If that's the case, you could get the FJR bags for their added capacity...

The Yamaha web site says the FJ09 bags are 75mm narrower than the FJR bags. I wonder if they will still be able to hold a helmet?

I think it says that the larger tank on the 2014 model is carried over to the 2015, not that it was increased again for 2015. It's kind of confusing the way they worded it.
