capacity is 7.8 gallons. as for 173miles thats pretty bad i normaly maintain at least 40mpg at the worst and it only goes up from there. i generaly fill up every 200-240 miles as i normaly ride with...

Gear ratio change in an 1150GS
well i finaly did it. i changed the ring an pinion set on my 1150 for a set from an R850R.
i went form the stock 31/11 at 2.82 to 1
to the 37/11 at 3.36 to 1
so enough numbers the true result...
