Got some last week and had high hopes...unfortunately they were dashed as the quieting aspects aren't as good as cheapie foam plugs and like d2mini sound is poor...no bass

Boy do I feel like a real fool...my dad always said "read the instructions"...what I didn't do was to remove the old internal piston after I took the spring out and "plunked" the new on down on top...

Many guys have rebuilt their own here...lots of examples. If your a bit handy its not overly difficult...can test ones patience though. I gave mine a go cuz I'm cheap but it turned out quite nice.

Well, I couldn't coax the wife on without a semi-wrap-around backrest so I put a Harley clone trunk on with one. Wether she really needs it (or uses it) is a entirely different question.
