I too have a Rocket Roadster and it is a "Hoot" to ride. Probably more bike that most can handle but a nice riding position and more power than any cruiser out there by far.

It's really hard to beat a bevel drive Ducati as being the "Real" best looking road bike. Although I'm much too tall to ever ride one, it's a thing of beauty to behold. It's got my vote.

After riding mine I feel there is no need for an overdrive. At freeway speed it criuses at 2500 rpm. Overdrive would just lug it down a bit. With so much torque on tap, 5 speeds are all it needs.

I just picked up my New Rocket Roadster this morning. The torque is very useful especially when changing lanes to pass. No downshifting at all, just a slight twist of the wrist and it's a done deal....
